Judith Herschell Cole

Judith Herschell Cole has 40 years of experience in water treatment and engineered systems. She is an entrepreneur, having founded Herschell Environmental in 2003. She has served in technical/engineering and commercial capacities at the executive level for large and small companies. She has extensive experience in business development, strategic planning, formulating and driving long-range strategies, introducing new products and services, executing marketing plans and designing small water and wastewater systems.

She holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Biology, and Psychology. Her graduate studies were in Biology. She believes deeply in giving back to the water treatment industry. Her volunteer activities include 26 years volunteering with the American Water Works Association and 17 years with the Marcellus Shale Coalition Research Collaborative. Other volunteer activities include, the Water Environment Federation and the American Membrane Technology Association.

Judith has contributed to many publications as feature article author, bi-monthly column author and technical reviewer for various publications and topics. She has served as a keynote speaker, workshop presenter, technical paper presenter, moderator, and seminar presenter at various national and regional professional events, symposia, and conferences.

Keith Kinch

Keith brings more than 25 years working across the water industry, blending technical expertise with commercial leadership and customer-driven strategy. He began his career in engineering and operations, building hands-on understanding of water systems and real-world challenges operators face. This foundation has shaped a career defined by practical solutions, customer empathy, and measurable results.

Over the past two decades, Keith has led growth and innovation initiatives across product management, strategic marketing, corporate development and M&A, technology commercialization, and demand generation. He has a proven track record of turning complex technologies into clear market value - and aligning teams around strategies that accelerate adoption and revenue growth.

Keith has held leadership and individual contributor roles with Gradiant, Solecta, Nanostone Water, Xylem, and Nalco Water. Across these roles, he has focused on value-based solution development, disciplined execution, and delivering positive impact for customers. He is recognized as a serial innovator, consistently challenging conventional approaches to technology, process, and go-to-market models.

Keith holds a BS in Environmental Engineering from Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from Penn State University. Based in the Chicago area, Keith supports clients globally.
